I should probably do this more often. Just to prove that I am actually doing something.
This is a process work on the first project that we have in my typography class.. we were supposed to make a “coloquial puzzle” of some sort where we make a cluster of words that fit together like a puzzle. The words should be one of those sayings the the older folks used to say like “hungry as a horse” or “raining cats and dogs”
I was not able to attend a couple of my classes because we moved but I thought that this would be a good, but no so hard, of a challenge for me. I wanted to use a saying with just the right number of words on it and that I think, actually makes sense.
The bottom image is my first attempt that I did at home when 3 colors was still allowed to be used. The top one was my third attempt I did in class where the rules have changed to 2 colors. The freedom of manipulating the letters can already be used, too. If you’re wondering where my 2nd attempt is, I think I lost the file.. No excuses.
I didn’t mean to type that much stuff but I just want to know what you guys think.
